Many seaweed species have a high production potential and attract interest as future protein sources. A fiber ash content, however, demand extraction of the to improve its digestibility utilization in food or feed. This study explores three different approaches for from Ulva fenestrata order maximize yield. Soluble was recovered either by mechanical pressing homogenization osmotic shock biomass followed alkaline extraction.
